Things to Note

Can I go kayaking if I don’t know how to swim?

You will receive a life jacket while kayaking. Many participants who don’t know how to swim have kayaked with us and thoroughly enjoyed it!

What is the level of fatigue involved in kayaking?

To cover the same distance, kayaking takes less energy than trekking. It is an excellent upper body workout. Kayaking is similar to trekking. We keep moving at a constant pace and take breaks periodically. Walking on water is more efficient than walking on land.

What to wear:

Wear comfortable clothes – t-shirts, shorts, track pants are some of the comfortable options.  For footwear, choose flip-flops, water sandals, or paddling shoes. Don’t wear jeans or cotton t-shirts since they tend to stay wet longer. Wear anything that is water-resistant and lightweight if you can.

Information that is important

  • A minimum age of 7 years is required
  • Kayaking does not require swimming skills.
